We all know that things have not gotten any less expensive during the last few years and these professionals have continued to provide the students in school district #1 the opportunity for an excellent education. It is imperative that we continue to have the highly qualified educators that we have had for years and if this helps us retain these valuable assets, I don’t feel this request is out of line at all. -Myron Malnaa

We have to consider the quality of the schooling our kids are getting. We have great teachers in Glasgow, but a reduction in the number of them will only increase the number of kids in each classroom, and even the most talented teacher can only do so much. We need to make our schools a more attractive place to teach so that we can retain these people, and hopefully hire more. -Steve Sukut

The Glasgow School System’s teachers and support staff are important people in our student’s developmental years. They are not only role models for our students, but they advocate for them, on a daily basis. The value and trust we place in them is indescribable. -Lisa Koski
